Google product search and listing was free for all users and retailers. But, surprisingly, it has been declared by Google that the retailers have to pay for product listing in Google shopping sites. This is not free now. When new products would come to the market by a brand, they used to enlist their products free in the Google Products. The users would get relevant information from the advertisement from the Product Listing Ads.

How Reasonable of Google’s Decision:

When the producing company needs to generate revenue at a shortest possible of time, it is better to make it promoted by any means to the customers. So, except the listing of ads, you have to generate your business to the customers which can do only the paid search ads. PPC is the shortest and effective way of it. This kind of ads has been highlighted leaving all other competitors behind, and thus the retailers get prospect customers directly.

On the other hands, all kinds of e-commerce sites are also introducing for proving free ads of your products for free. There, the retailers are getting advertisement benefit as well as this generates sales. Only product description does not increase sale in the competitive market. So, product listing on Google for advertisement is no longer beneficial for visitors and the retailers. Paid PPC ads hit into the mind of the customers and so, the sale has been increased. It is better to enhance search result visibility of products by pay-to-play has been successful in the search engine and eCommerce sites also.

Customers Get Knowledge from Search Engines:

Google has decided to paid search for retailers, but still they can enlist their products for various reasons in Google. The other search engines also offer relevant information of the enlisted products. Search engines help the customers:

• To get make out the product and its benefit, the visitors get all description from the search engines.

• It is a quick process to choose the best and cost savvy product according to the buyer’s choice.

• It does not show you the ads in the same way that the e-commerce shopping sites show you or describe you.

Selection of Products to Buy:

This is a known question that what to buy. You have to select the product. When a customer determines to buy a product, he finds a good brand. Most of the cases purchasers do not pre-select the brand while buying. When they see the description and its reasonable price with satisfactory service warranty, they decide to buy the product. Here, PPC plays a greater role in enhancing search engine marketing experience.But, now think of the matter, when a genuine customer intending to buy any product, will he be satisfied enough by passing so many hazards? He wants to visit directly to the retailers’ stores, even by PPC services. This is the reason; Google has changed its decision to paid search.
